I don't think a day has gone by, in the last five plus years, that I haven't reached for this blend of Wintergreen, Helichrysum, Clove and Peppermint essential oils. It smells so good but it also works so well and is soothing to a variety of temporary discomforts. Wintergreen leaves have been chewed by Native Americans when running long distances and performing difficult labor. The settlers from early America had their children chew the leaves for several weeks each spring to help prevent tooth decay and it was used as a substitute for black tea during the Revolutionary War! Helichrysum is also known by the names of Immortelle and Everlasting. Clove oil kept the people on the island of Ternate healthy until Dutch Conquerors destroyed the clove trees that used to flourish on the island and the primary constituent in Clove oil, Euganol, uses to be used in the dental industry for years to help numb gums before procedures. Peppermint is probably one of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion and it's ability to directly effect the brain's satiety center was studied by Alan Hirsch, MD. These four together are wonderfully soothing, comforting and helpful for some of the more common, every day issues we might face. Here's how I use it most often:
10 Ways To Use Panaway: 1.) Diffuse to process through grief, sadness and loss. 2.) Apply to joints to maintain health plus function and movement. 3.)
